Pierluigi - n. 137
Generous proportions and distinctive workmanship characterize this Pierluigi “Per i miei amici”, a pre-smoked pipe with a strong handcrafted personality. The broad, rounded bowl features attractive smooth briar in a warm brown tone, with clearly visible grain naturally following the volume of the bowl and enhancing its curved surfaces.
One of the most distinctive details is the rusticated section extending across part of the bowl, creating a striking textural contrast with the surrounding smooth briar. The broad, substantial shank features clean surfaces and flows towards a gently curved black mouthpiece, maintaining a balanced overall profile despite the generous proportions.
At 52 grams, the pipe has a substantial presence without becoming excessively heavy. Its Stand-Up construction also allows it to rest upright on a flat surface, a practical feature that integrates naturally with the distinctive geometry of the design.
A distinctive pre-owned handcrafted Italian Pierluigi pipe particularly appealing to enthusiasts looking for a previously smoked piece with an individual aesthetic and construction. The photographs show the actual condition of this specific pipe and form an integral part of its description.
