The smooth polished finish is dominated by a deep ruby-red tone, approaching burgundy in its darker areas, from which the natural grain of the briar emerges with striking intensity. Across the bowl, the grain develops predominantly vertically, forming vivid red flames that rise towards the rim; along the shank, the pattern changes direction and becomes more animated, creating beautiful contrasts beneath the glossy finish.
