The full, rounded bowl gently tapers towards the rim, while the shank rises decisively to meet the generously curved mouthpiece. The result is a compact yet dynamic silhouette in which every element seems to follow the same upward movement.
The sandblast is one of the most striking features of this piece. Deep and highly expressive, it reveals the structure of the briar through a succession of rings, ripples and grain patterns that wrap around the bowl and continue along the shank. The warm brown stain, with lighter highlights across the raised areas, further enhances the three-dimensional quality of the surface.
Its classification within the Fiammata group emphasizes the quality of the briar and the importance of its natural grain.
