Fiamma di Re - Epica n. 26
This Fiamma di Re interprets the Bent Egg shape with a distinctive personality and a soft, compact silhouette. The full, rounded lower bowl gradually tapers towards the slightly angled rim, while the shank flows naturally into the curved mouthpiece, creating a particularly harmonious profile.
The sandblasted briar is finished in a deep glossy black that beautifully emphasizes the natural relief of the grain. The sandblast follows the structure of the briar through dense waves and ring-like patterns wrapping around the bowl, alternating with deeper and more irregular areas. The result is a richly textured surface whose appearance changes beautifully with the light.
The upper rim reveals the warm natural colour of the briar, creating a refined contrast with the intense black sandblasted finish. The chamber has an internal diameter of 20 mm and an external diameter of 38 mm, proportions that help preserve the compact and elegant character of the bowl.
A further distinctive feature is the large light-coloured decorative insert positioned between the shank and mouthpiece, characterized by its contrasting dark markings. Its ivory tone deliberately interrupts the predominantly black palette and becomes an important visual element, emphasizing the transition towards the long, gently curved black mouthpiece.
An elegant and characterful Fiamma di Re sandblasted Bent Egg, where the deep black finish enhances the texture of the briar while the light decorative insert adds a strong touch of individuality. A beautifully balanced pipe combining a classic shape with unmistakable handcrafted details.
