This Fiamma di Re, graded 1 Corona, presents a compact and clean-lined interpretation of the classic Billiard, enhanced by a finish of remarkable chromatic intensity. The tall, regular bowl retains the traditional character of the shape, while the long straight shank flows naturally towards the mouthpiece, creating an understated yet distinctly elegant silhouette.
The smooth polished finish is dominated by a deep ruby-red tone, approaching burgundy in its darker areas, from which the natural grain of the briar emerges with striking intensity. Across the bowl, the grain develops predominantly vertically, forming vivid red flames that rise towards the rim; along the shank, the pattern changes direction and becomes more animated, creating beautiful contrasts beneath the glossy finish.
The upper rim is slightly inclined and follows the profile of the bowl naturally, adding a subtle sense of movement to an otherwise essential design.
