Moretti - 26° Ann. lepipe.it n. 2
An unusual material and softly rounded shape distinguish this Moretti morta wood pipe, created to celebrate the 26th Anniversary of LePipe.it. The Bent Apple shape features a compact, pleasantly rounded bowl flowing into a substantial shank and a long, gently curved black mouthpiece. At 51 grams, it has a substantial yet well-balanced presence.
The defining feature of this example is its morta wood, a material with a distinctly different appearance from traditional briar. The finish leaves the natural texture clearly visible, displaying shades ranging from greyish brown to deeper brown together with dense grain patterns that follow the rounded surfaces of the bowl. The upper rim is smooth and broad, complementing the generous proportions of the bowl.
The transition to the black mouthpiece is highlighted by a blue decorative band, a small yet distinctive colour accent that stands out against the more understated tones of the morta. The shank also bears the special “26° Anniversary lepipe.it” marking, identifying the pipe as part of Moretti's commemorative production dedicated to our anniversary.
A distinctive handcrafted Italian Moretti morta wood pipe, particularly appealing to enthusiasts looking for an alternative to traditional briar with a strong visual identity of its own. The Bent Apple shape, natural wood texture and blue accent make this an original piece within the LePipe.it 26th Anniversary collection. With every pipe from this anniversary series purchased, we include a complimentary LePipe.it plexiglass pipe tool, a special gift dedicated to this commemorative production.
