Ser Jacopo Insanus R1D is an Italian handmade pipe that perfectly represents the boldest and most unconventional side of the renowned Pesaro workshop. This Freeform Stand-Up features a richly rusticated bowl and an extraordinary deliberately "broken" shank. The shank appears to have been split into two sections and then reassembled, with the two parts seemingly held together by a thin metal wire wrapped around the joint. The result is a dramatic visual effect that recalls a carefully repaired fracture, transforming the pipe into a true piece of contemporary functional art.
