Santambrogio - XX n. 62
Bold in proportion and instantly recognizable, this Santambrogio XX Poker offers a substantial and distinctly artisanal interpretation of the classic Poker shape. The tall, robust bowl features nearly vertical walls with a subtly shaped profile, while the broad flat top reinforces the pipe’s solid appearance. Two fine dark circular grooves run around the upper section of the bowl, creating an elegant contrast with the natural tone of the briar.
The smooth briar finish clearly displays the grain of the wood, especially along the tall sides of the bowl. A short, straight shank leads to a light-coloured transition before meeting the distinctive green marbled mouthpiece, whose lighter flowing shades provide an original chromatic contrast and visually balance the generous proportions of the bowl.
Its Stand-Up configuration allows the pipe to rest upright on a flat surface, a particularly practical and characteristic feature for a Poker. Classified by Santambrogio in the Grande category, this handcrafted Italian pipe combines substantial dimensions, classic Poker inspiration and distinctive decorative details for a highly individual overall appearance.
