“Odyssey” di GL Pease è stato il mio primo tabacco di questo produttore. Prodotto da Cornell & Diehl, avevo piena fiducia nella sua qualità, ma ero comunque molto curioso di scoprire questo tabacco.
Spoiler: non è male!
Le strisce si sono rivelate facili da confezionare e accendere, e il tabacco era perfetto da fumare direttamente dalla latta.
Inizia con un tabacco Virginia dolce e vivace, poi aggiunge una foglia orientale terrosa e floreale. Poi si unisce una nota leggermente speziata e una sottile ricchezza fermentata. Il tabacco brucia lentamente e in modo uniforme, e può essere gustato senza sovraccaricare le papille gustative.
La mia latta è ora vuota, e mentre non ho intenzione di fare scorta di questo blend, certamente fumerei volentieri Odyssey ogni volta che me lo offrono.
