Regina Scarlatta - n. 116
This Regina Scarlatta interprets the classic Poker shape with a clean, slender profile. The tall cylindrical bowl features a subtle inclination that adds movement to the design, while the short shank quickly transitions into a long black mouthpiece, creating an understated yet highly elegant silhouette.
The sandblasted finish gives the briar considerable character, revealing a dense and deeply textured grain. Distinctive growth rings wrap around the bowl in a remarkably expressive pattern, alternating darker ridges with warmer reddish-brown highlights. The same finish continues along the shank, providing visual continuity throughout the pipe.
The contrast between the tactile surface of the briar and the long glossy black mouthpiece further emphasizes the pipe's elongated proportions. Its Stand-Up configuration, especially well suited to the Poker shape, also allows the pipe to stand independently when placed down.
At only 31 grams, this Regina Scarlatta is remarkably lightweight despite the visual presence of its tall bowl. A distinctive Poker combining slender proportions, expressive sandblasting and clean design in a beautifully balanced composition.
