This Fiamma di Re 2 Corone is an exceptionally slender creation in which Andrea Pascucci allows the remarkable grain of the briar to play the leading role in the pipe's overall design. The tall, flared bowl gradually widens towards its base, while the long and remarkably slim shank rises towards the mouthpiece, creating a dynamic and immediately recognizable silhouette.

The smooth briar is unquestionably the star of this piece. Its deep brown finish, crossed by warm amber and golden tones, reveals beautiful flame grain running vertically along the bowl. The grain appears to spread upwards from the base towards the rim, naturally following the shape created by the artisan. Along the long shank the grain becomes tighter and more regular, emphasizing its slender proportions with a succession of fine natural lines and contrasts.

The construction is a Pencil, a name that perfectly describes the unusual slenderness of the shank. Long, thin and visually light, it creates an elegant contrast with the substantial volume of the bowl. The deliberately elongated proportions give the pipe a strong individual character while preserving an overall sense of lightness and refinement.

The pipe is also a Stand-Up. Its broad, flat bowl base is shaped so that the pipe can stand independently when placed on a level surface. On this particular design the feature is not merely practical: the flat base accentuates the outward flare of the bowl and reinforces its distinctive, almost architectural profile.

The transition to the short, gently curved black mouthpiece is embellished with a slim silver band. This small metallic detail introduces a bright accent between the warm briar and the polished black mouthpiece, while the final curve visually balances the upward inclination of the long shank.

Graded 2 Corone, this Fiamma di Re is a fine expression of Andrea Pascucci's creative approach: a pipe conceived around the briar itself, where flame grain, proportions and shape become parts of the same design. An elegant and unconventional Pencil Stand-Up, distinguished by its exceptionally slender profile and by grain that becomes an essential element of its personality.
